At the last Board of Selectmen’s meeting, First Selectman Mike Tetreau and Selectmen Shelia Marmion and Kevin Kiley had a drawing to announce the top two prize recipients.

Alongside the passport promotion, the town had a simultaneous social media campaign on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for patrons who posted a photo of themselves enjoying a dish at one of the participating restaurants and included the hashtag #FairfieldRestaurantWeek in the caption.

The top two prize winners were Marie Genest of Milford, who won a stay package at the Fairfield Circle Inn, and John Kuhn of Fairfield, who won a $50 gift certificate to b.good Restaurant.

The town’s Community and Economic Development Department, which has spearheaded this event and similar retail-based initiatives, is asking community members to fill out a post-event survey by going to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FairfieldRW2015

The department is offering a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to Crave Bar & Grill for those who complete the online survey by noon Monday. The survey is intended to get the public’s feedback on their dining out experience in Fairfield during Restaurant Week.
